Welcome to... Hello and welcome to The Great British Tattoo Show! Olympia is our airy abode for a weekend of thrills, spills and the UK’s newest celebration of some mighty fine tattooing and electric entertainment! So what’s it all about? The Great British Tattoo Show was borne of a desire to bring together as many elements of the inked lifestyle as possible under one roof. So here today, we have alternative fashion shows, acts, activities and spectacles for you to feast your eyes on! Whether you are into punk rock, retro beauty, street style, graffiti or more – there is something here for all. Let’s celebrate our differences under the umbrella of the one thing that binds us all. Tattoos... glorious tattoos! The Great British Tattoo Show plays host to a collection of tattoo artists at the very pinnacle of their careers who have travelled here from world over to make their mark on your skin. Their work is second-to-none and we are delighted to have them with us. And with tattooing styles spanning the entire spectrum, you really are spoilt for choice! Many artists are working on a first-comefirst-served basis so you have the extraordinary opportunity to get the best ink available – right here, this weekend. Among these are Roman Abrego and Sweet Laraine from the USA, Zoltan Kriszan of Hungary, Rogal and Deadi from Poland, and so many more – make sure you take time to see all of our wonderful artists, some of them are making their UK convention debut. This show reflects the UK’s true passion for fantastic ink and alternative interests. Brand new for the UK convention scene is the fashion element of this show. Where we will be showcasing a selection of wonderful designers and brands of alternative clothing to tickle your style-buds! We are very grateful to the companies who are taking part to bring this together, and know you’ll love what they have to show you here this weekend. All of our stunning models are courtesy of Spirit Model Management. More importantly, most of the clothes are available to buy – right here at the show. So… what’s happening? promises to be some incredible entries for our 12 ‘Crown’ trophies – check out page 23 for more information and how to enter. We have exquisite burlesque performances from both Beatrix Von Bourbon and Millie Dollar taking place on our main stage. Both are eye-poppingly gorgeous and a must-see. Also joining the party are The Cyanide Girls with their risqué routines; Graffiti Life working their magic on a giant wall; Jerome Burnet, our master magician, will astonish you with his sleight of hand and the MBE BMX Team will be performing tricks that’ll make your jaw drop. We also have Keelan Phillips, flatland BMX pro, some of the UK’s finest breakdancers, and much more besides! All show timings can be found on page 11. Once you’ve taken everything in and fancy a rest, head over to the guys ‘n’ gals at Cloud 9 who will be serving up moodlifting, energy-boosting massages to visitors and exhibitors alike, all weekend. Splendid! ;) For those of you new to the tattoo scene, be prepared to witness some mind-blowing work. STYLE BICYCLE FLATLAND BMX Keelan Phillips is possibly the UK’s finest trickster on two wheels when it comes to flatland BMX. What he can do with a bike is outrageous! Keelan will be performing in the box jump area – timings on page 11.
CYANIDE GIRLS BOX JUMP Hosting a number of shows and competitions this weekend are the talented riders from MBE. Kye Forte and his team will wow you with their incredible tricks done at amazing heights.
GRAFFITI & STREET ART Alongside the main stage the talented chaps from Graffiti Life will be showcasing their impressive skills with pen and ink on the enormous Great British Graffiti Wall – definitely worth a look – and you can even have a go if you’re feeling arty!
ENGINEERS OF DESIRE Fluxing the gap between retro-futurism and alternative post-apocalyptic, Engineers of Desire create a transmutant circus of steampunk burlesque, carnival grotesque and chic fetish. Timings on Page 11.

BURLESQUE Two of the UK’s hottest burlesque acts at one show? Yes, Sir! Both Millie Dollar and Beatrix Von Bourbon (who is fresh from performing on Britain’s Got Talent Series 6) are here to tease and please with their fantastic routines. Beauty, class, incredible outfits and huge talent form a heady mix not to be missed. Timings on page 11.
These girls will be gracing our main stage and love nothing more than entertaining a crowd. They’ll delight you with their fantastic fire acts, risqué routines and much more besides! PLUS – the girls will be hanging about the Skin Deep stand opposite the main stage selling kisses for our charity, CHILDREN WITH CANCER – so pucker up and dig deep! Check out page 11 for their performance timings.
ACE CAFÉ LONDON With a deep-rooted and iconic history in the UK motor scene dating back to 1938, Ace Café London continues to be a mecca for all ‘Petrolheads’. They’re here this weekend with an impressive display of customised vehicles, so make sure you stop by and say hello!
We know you guys love lookin’ your best for the ladies, so why not pay a visit to John who will give you an old school cut-throat shave in preparation for the weekend? Smooth as a baby’s... ;) As with every show we have a nominated charity. ON SUNDAY two members of our team will be running the LONDON MARATHON in aid of CHILDREN WITH CANCER and we’re fundraising hard for this great cause! You can donate at various points at the show – so please do!
XERO HAIR Anthony and Natalie offer striking contemporary hairstyles with cutting-edge colours, patterns and products. If you’re feeling brave, they’ll make you over right here today! For those just wanting something different they’ll also do a lil’ up-do or a trim for you, for tonight.

STREET MAGIC – SHAZZAM! Illusionists and tricksters are as old as time. This weekend we have for you the fantastic Jerome Burnet, who will be wandering around the show and performing his incredible close-up magic for your viewing pleasure! What this guy can do with a balloon is unbelievable.
COMPETITIONS A guaranteed line-up of amazing ink – judged by a panel of leading names in the industry. Judging will take place on the main stage – make sure you check out page 23 for full details, timings, and more importantly – how to enter!
FUN INKY TIMES WITH OUR COMPÈRE We are pleased to announce that The Great British Tattoo Show will be compèred by Tattoo Jam’s very own, Paul Sweeney. Paul is a huge ink-fan and of much critical acclaim. He’ll be on-hand throughout the weekend to ensure that proceedings have commentary capable of inducing mass fits of laughter with his musings and observations.

EVOLUTION TRADITIONAL SHAVE
Charlie Docker of Retro Beauty will be creating body art masterpieces at her stand all weekend. Specialising in theatre make-up and dramatic makeover projects, she is a must-see!
We have a team of three of the UK’s most talented breakdancers performing stunning routines right here. They will also be performing with Keelan of Style Bicycle in a mix of bike and beats that will knock your socks off! Timings page 11.
CLOUD 9 MASSAGE POD For our artists who work so hard all weekend, and our visitors who have so much to see – we have teamed up with the wonderful people at CLOUD 9 who will offer head, neck and shoulder massages all weekend. Take a seat in their enormous cloud (yes, it’s actually a cloud!) and let them ease all your tensions away... ahhhhhhh ;)
The Girl with the dragon tattoo The Great British Tattoo Show is celebrating the launch of this fantastic release on Blu-Ray this weekend. Sony Home Entertainment will be screening the trailer on the main stage throughout the weekend and you can WIN copies of the Blu-Ray in issue 210 of Skin Deep – on sale opposite the main stage.
