Dein Vorbereitungsthema: Irland

Eine Reihe von Aufgaben wird sich am Prüfungstag (26. Januar 2017) auf das Thema Irland (Geografie, Geschichte, Politik, Kultur und Literatur) beziehen. Bereite dich gründlich darauf vor! Informiere dich anhand von Büchern, Reiseführern oder im Internet. Und schließlich können dir sicherlich deine Lehrerin oder dein Lehrer manchen Tipp geben. Also viel Spaß bei der Vorbereitung!

Und hier die Aufgaben, die du schon jetzt zu Hause bearbeitest: Wir empfehlen für die Aufnahme der Aufgaben unseren telefonischen Sprachcomputer, der wie ein Anrufbeantworter funktioniert. Du registrierst dich dafür auf unserer Homepage und erhältst dann deinen ganz persönlichen PIN-Code (er ist nur für dich). Wir senden ihn zusammen mit der Telefonnummer an dein Email-Postfach. Solltest du deine Beiträge auf einer CD einreichen wollen, so beachte bitte Folgendes. Sprich zuerst deinen Vorlesetext auf die CD und erst danach die Freie Äußerung! Bitte als zwei getrennte TonDateien brennen. Überprüfe deine Aufnahme auf einem anderen Abspielgerät als auf dem für die Aufnahme genutzten (PC, CD-Player …). Bring die CD mit diesen beiden Beiträgen zum Prüfungstag mit! Zugelassen sind nur CDs, die auf CD-Playern abspielbar sind. Bitte nicht die Beiträge mehrerer Teilnehmer auf einem Tonträger zusammenfassen. Das kostet die Jury sehr viel Zeit.

Foster by Claire Keegan [A young girl, whose mother is due with her next baby soon, is taken to her mother’s relatives so they can look after her.] [...] When the woman comes out, she pays no heed to the men. She is even taller than my mother, with the same black hair, but hers is cut tight like a helmet. She’s wearing a printed blouse and brown, flared trousers. The car door is opened and I am taken out, and kissed. “The last time I saw you, you were in the pram,” she says, and stands back, expecting an answer. “The pram’s broken.” “What happened at all?” “My brother used it for a wheelbarrow and the wheel fell off.” She laughs and licks her thumb and wipes something off my face. I can feel her thumb, softer than my mother’s, wiping whatever it is away. When she looks at my clothes, I see my thin cotton dress, my dusty sandals through her eyes. Neither one of us knows what to say. A queer, ripe breeze is crossing the yard. “Come on in [...].” She leads me into the house. There’s a moment of darkness in the hallway; when I hesitate, she hesitates with me. We walk through into the heat of the kitchen, where I am told to sit down, to make myself at home. Freie Äußerung You’re staying with a host family in Waterford. One afternoon you decide to cycle to see the countryside. Unfortunately, freewheeling down a hill, you cycle into a flock of sheep. You phone your host parents on your mobile to describe the disaster. Consider where you are, what happened to you and your bike (and the sheep), the role of the shepherd, the weather… Your mobile’s battery is very low, so you only have 90 seconds.

Sprich den Text auf deinen Tonträger. Mache dir Notizen zu dem, was du sagen willst. Schildere dann lebhaft auf Englisch (mit Hilfe deiner Notizen, aber ohne abzulesen), was du dir überlegt hast. Wir erwarten von dir eine Äußerung von ca. 90 Sekunden.
