COMMUNIQUE NO. 1 International conference ART of [in:] SPACE will be held on the 7th and 8th of October 2016 at the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław during the 6th Lower Silesian Festival of Architecture DoFA. The 2016 Festival’s edition is special due to the fact that it takes place within the framework of the architectural program of the European Capital of Culture 2016. The conference has been organized in cooperation with: Faculty of Architecture - University of Technology in Wrocław, Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and Wrocław Contemporary Museum. Participation rules Participation is free of charge. Abstracts not exceeding 500 words, written in Polish and English, shall be submitted until the 12 th of July 2016 via Ex Ordo platform: https://sarp2016.exordo.com. Each Author shall choose one of the three thematic panels and present their idea in a presentation matching the selected topic. Presentations should take one of the following forms: a scientific article, a poster or a Pecha Kucha presentation. Participation in the conference should be registered via Ex Ordo: https://sarp2016.exordo.com. Registration of participants will be open after the 12th of July 2016. Articles accepted for printing will be published in a special, monographic, bilingual edition of Architectus magazine issued by the Faculty of Architecture, University of Technology in Wrocław (9 points according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education) available on-line: http://architectus.arch.pwr.wroc.pl/polski/00menu/menu.html. During the conference a light lunch will be provided. Transport and accommodation related cost will not be covered by the organizers, however, assistance in organization of accommodation will be available.
