9TH EUC ROWING
THE EVENT This year, Hannover is celebrating the 9th European Universities Rowing Championships (EUC Rowing) hosted by the Department of Academic Sports Services of Leibniz Universität Hannover in cooperation with the Hannover Regatta Association. With record-breaking registration results the biggest EUC Rowing in the history of this event takes place in the Capital City of Lower Saxony: 600 participants from 18 different European countries will fight for 21 titles in different boat classes. Next to this year’s hosts, the EUC Rowing is governed by the European University Sports Association (EUSA). The association currently organizes European Universities Championships in 19 sports, with participating teams and individuals from universities across Europe. The championships have been organised annually since 2001. From 2012 onwards, they are organised
