Supporting children is a cause that is easy to champion and dear to our hearts. These exceptional institutions continue to go above and beyond, not only by providing meaningful education to their students, but taking an active and leadership role in their respective communities. Giant Steps School is the only educational institution in Quebec focused exclusively on students aged 4 to 21 years of age who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. ÉCOLE SOCRATESDÉMOSTHÈNE L’École Socrates-Démosthène is a highly respected trilingual educational institution. This approach is based not only upon the work done with each individual student in the classroom environment but through an innovative inclusion program that allows him/her to participate in the community. In addition, the Giant Steps Resource and Training Center supports professionals, teachers, families, and the autism community. Ultimately, the dedicated Giant Steps team strives to be a leader and hub for the development and provision of services supporting the education and success of people with autism spectrum disorders.
